En mer laidback holdning en det Antonio Guccione viste under Nordic Light, skal man lete lenge etter. Glem alt du har hørt om hissige egotripper av stjernefotografer.  Det kan da umulig stemme med denne mannen som har en lang merittliste på sin cv. Og det er snakk om elite kjendiser til Harpers bazar, Vogue med mer. Antonio er rett og slett morsom med sin lavmælte slapstick holdning til hele fotoverdenen. Mulig han er annerledes i jobb sammenheng, hvem vet, men på foredraget sitt under Nordic Light, bød han på et høydepunkt med god underholdning.

- Smile is the most important thing, starter han foredraget sitt med. Da er det ikke vanskelig å slå følge. Spesielt ikke når man har sett utstillingen hans i forkant, uten å være veldig imponert.

- I love my work! Aner at dette kan bli morsomt. Han forteller om tilfeldigheter, og hvordan ting blir som de blir på bildene hans. Ikke alltid med noen retning, ikke alltid planlagt, men det blir da noen bilder ut av det. Tilfeldig eller ikke. Med eller uten egenart, ser ikke ut til å bry Antonio stort. Han vil ha det gøy. Eller ligger det noe mer bakom?

Han forteller litt om sin oppvekst og fascinasjon for vinduer. Fordi han selv ikke hadde tilgang til et vindu fra gutterommet. Vindusrammen viser seg å være noe som er gjennomgående i hans bilder. En undring over hva som er på utsiden av den. Så er det allikevel et mønster i det han holder på med.

Selv sier han at det er tre ting som er viktig i bildene: Surrealism-color-sex.

- Fashion and portraits are  the same thing, sier han videre.

Han synes også det er trist å være ferdig med et prosjekt. Hva gjør jeg nå? Som et råd til seg selv og andre handler det om å produsere-produsere-produsere.

Og tilslutt kommer han med en filosofisk tanke: - Success is not touchable!

Antonio Guccione er en fyr man enten elsker eller hater. Jeg likte han!

Antonio Guccione At Nordic Light 

 Forget everything about big egoes among starphotographers. This can`t be true when it comes to Antonio Guccione.  This man has made big shoots for Harpers Bazar, Vogue and so on.

Antonio Guccione is really funny with his slapstick humour. Maybe he is different when he is at work, who knows, but under his presentation at Nordic Light he was a highlight with lot´s of entertainment.

Smile is the most important thing, is the first thing he tell us. Well, I smiled. Especially when I am not so impressed by his exhebition.

I love my work! This can really be funny. He tells about coincidenses, and how things getting, as they are in his picture. Not always as and direction, or planned, but it`s pictures… Coinsidense or not. With or without signature. Antonio doesn`t seem to care. He want´s to have fun. Or is it something behind…..

He`s telling about his childhood and fascination for windows. Because he don`t have windows at his boysroom when he was young. The window frame suddenly appears to be in several of his pictures. A study about what`s on the outside. Then it´s appears a patern on what he is doing.

Antonio Guccione say`s there is three thing that`s important in his picture:

Surrealism-color-sex 

Fashion and portraits are the same thing.

It´s sad to be finished with a project he tell´s us. What to do now? As an advise to himself it´s about produce, produce and produce.

Success is not touchable!

Everything is told on a very cool and funny way. He is laidback, but surely know what he is doing.

You can either love or hate this gay. I really loved him!
